Não há virtualmente nada mais emblemático no Rock do que os riffs de guitarra. Muitas vezes, eles servem como a introdução ou a parte mais marcante de grandes clássicos da música, e é natural que alguns tenham sido imortalizados com o tempo.

Justamente por isso, é uma tarefa quase impossível selecionar apenas 50 para serem os maiores da história. Por isso, a revista Guitar World — especializada em guitarras, como o nome diz — resolveu convocar seus leitores para escolher essa lista democraticamente.

A partir de 125 sugestões da própria publicação e limitando a apenas um riff por artista, o resultado final pode ser visto abaixo em formato de lista e, clicando aqui, você confere a matéria original onde os editores da revista falam um pouco mais sobre cada uma das composições.
